Dressing business casual in the summer can be hard. Going in between super air-conditioned areas and the hot outdoors, is even harder. I’ve realized dressing in layers is key, but a good jean jacket really puts a finishing touch on an outfit. It’s basically the little black dress of millenials.
So without further ado, let me tell you about the best jean jacket I’ve ever owned. Seriously! It’s not boxy, the color goes with SO many outfits and it’s timeless. Mine is two years old and I don’t think it’ll be going out of style anytime soon. It’s also super soft and comfortable (not something I would normally say about jeans. This version is almost identical to mine and it’s the same brand.
My pants are high-rise skinny cargos are marked down to $24.99 on J.Crew Factory! Perfect pants to brighten up any outfit. You can find them here.
Tank top pictured is sold out, but I’ve listed my favorite white tee here. My purse is a few years old BP from Nordstrom, but here are two similar, current BP options in a beautiful cognac color, I love this one and this canteen-shaped bag is another good option.
My earrings are locally made by Hide & Heart Co (fun fact Tina was also my Doula!), and they are light as a feather. I always forget that I’m wearing them.
Shoes are Steve Madden, quilted and very comfortable. I got mine on sale at Macy’s.
My lipstick is 9 to 5 from Beautycounter and it typically lasts me upwards of 6 hours and does not dry out my lips. You can find it here.
Happy Monday Friends!
