I’m so excited to be doing a blog series with summer drink recipes with a group of amazing bloggers. Links to their posts are at the end of this post, be sure to check them out! So ladies, what have you been drinking during quarantine? For me, it’s been skinny margaritas and an occasional glass of wine. I actually normally don’t drink very much at all because I’m usually too stressed and I don’t ever want to use alcohol as a coping skill, but working form home has been quite relaxing for me. So I’ve been enjoying a few cocktails a week. With summer approaching, I figured I could use a fun summer drink and I looked at what I had around the house. I really have been loving fruity drinks and decided some fresh strawberries were definitely in order.
I also am having a moment with White Claw lately, have you tried it?! It’s basically a spiked sparkling water and it comes in several delicious flavors! It also somehow feels way more classy than drinking a Mike’s Hard Lemonade (which makes me think of college). Make sure you have a good blender that can tackle blending ice cubes and frozen fruit; we’ve had this Ninja for a few years and are very happy with it.
Leave out the alcohol and add ginger ale and sparkling water, trust me it’s still delicious!
Add a variety of frozen fruit and fresh lime or lemon juice. I actually think it would be delicious with some frozen lemonade concentrate! Just be sure to balance it out with some extra liquid so it’s not too sour.

Swap the rum for tequila and add lime juice a splash of orange liquor
Any option you choose will likely be delicious and you can step-up your game by serving it in a fancy glass. These martini glasses are my favorite to make an ordinary drink look super fancy.
