Hello there! If you're just tuning in, head over to the first installment in this series: Part 1 of my TULA products review. I am not a TULA influencer, simply a blogger who has been influenced to try TULA products. Along the way, there are quite a few products that I have fallen in love with, but some are just a big miss. In each installment of this series, I'll be sharing a few products that I like/love and one product that I am not a fan of, so basically my authentic review. : ) Also, I am sharing a 20% off code here. Again, I am not an influencer for TULA, this is simply the code you get on your account under refer Friends & Family (Full disclosure, I get $20 towards Tula if ... Read the Post
TULA Tuesdays: Part 2
TULA Tuesdays: An Honest Review
If you follow any influencers on social media you probably have heard of TULA. Started in 2013 by a gastroenterologist (yes really, I didn't know this until I looked it up), TULA focuses on using probiotics in skincare. They also pride themselves on being free of harmful ingredients (pthalates, parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, etc) and are also cruelty-free. Their ingredient philosophy originally spiked my interest, but also the fact that it seems that EVERY influencer promotes them. TULA definitely uses a lot of influencer marketing, which is a great marketing tactic, but also leaves me wondering which one of their products actually work. Don't get me wrong , I'm all about brands that make ... Read the Post
Summer Drink Series: White Claw Slushie
I'm so excited to be doing a blog series with summer drink recipes with a group of amazing bloggers. Links to their posts are at the end of this post, be sure to check them out! So ladies, what have you been drinking during quarantine? For me, it's been skinny margaritas and an occasional glass of wine. I actually normally don't drink very much at all because I'm usually too stressed and I don't ever want to use alcohol as a coping skill, but working form home has been quite relaxing for me. So I've been enjoying a few cocktails a week. With summer approaching, I figured I could use a fun summer drink and I looked at what I had around the house. I really have been loving fruity drinks and ... Read the Post
What’s Up Wednesday: Quarantine Edition
Getting back to a monthly What's Up Wednesday Post; I somehow completely did not have time to do one in February or March and now we've apparently fast-forwarded through April. I always link up to Sheaffer Told Me To & Mix and Match Mama, as they are the OG What's Up Wednesday bloggers. What We've Been Eating Actual home cooked food! I know! I've cooked more in the past month than I probably have in the past two years. And I've been enjoying it because I actually have the time to meal prep, look for recipes, and enjoy cooking. When I did get sick of cooking, I decided to try Sun Basket, a meal delivery service that provides farm fresh ingredients with fun and creative recipes. ... Read the Post
Mother’s Day Gift Guide: Chicago Edition
Disclaimer: This post may contain affiliate links. Any purchases made through these links will result in a small commission for me (at no extra cost to you), but all opinions are my own. Mother's Day is going to look a little different this year and I swear this quarantine better not end right before Father's Day because that would just not be fair! One thing we know for sure, Mother's Day is going to look a little big different this year and I wanted to share my favorite items in this gift guide. These are all items I own myself and find myself reaching for time and time again. Most of these items are from small businesses local to me because they need our support now more than ever ... Kid’s Monster Craft
Okay, I know what you might be thinking: another Mom blogger doing a craft?! But hear me out, we don't know how much longer we're going to be quarantined, and our kids still need creative activities. It doesn't matter if you're only doing them once a week or every day, your kids will appreciate it and I promise, this one's pretty fun. I got the idea when I saw other bloggers making adorable fork chicks with for Easter and when I tried to make one, it looked more like a monster than a chicken. And that's when I got the idea to make fork monsters! Easy enough for young toddlers to do, this monster craft is also fun for the older kids to get creative with their monster mouths and ...
